Florida freshman WR Dallas Wilson made his arrival in style. He helped the Gators beat Texas in Week 6. Despite coming off a left-foot injury, he hauled in six catches for 111 yards. To cap it off, he also scored 2 TDs and earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors. “It meant everything,” stated Wilson. “Everybody believed in everybody, so it was good coming out there with all the guys.” Due to such a positive mindset, a fumble on the opening play didn’t faze him. He bounced back with a 13-yard TD, cementing a historic debut for Gator Nation. He also became the first Florida freshman since 2016 to surpass 100 yards in a debut.
