EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Popular Evansville playground will remain closed for another week.

Mickey's Kingdom Park along Evansville riverfront will remain closed through Saturday, October 18th after officials said they "hit a snag mid-week."

The park has been closed for maintenance since October 3rd as the playground surface is being replaced and new equipment is being installed.

Barricades are at the front of the park and residents are being asked not to enter or use the playground while the work continues.
