SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily/AP) — “Banana Ball” continues to take the world by storm, as the Savannah Bananas announced their 2026 schedule this week.

While the Bananas themselves will not be stopping in the Valley of the Sun this year, two other teams part of the newly-formed Banana Ball Championship League, will make a stop in Scottsdale. Fans can watch The Firefighters and Texas Tailgaters square off on March 28-29 at Salt River Fields. Game times have not yet been announced.

The Bananas are known for their wacky, fast-paced style of play with creative rules that put fans inside the action. Players are known to stop games for a quick dance break or perform trick moves that get the crowd riled up.
