CHANDIGARH: Senior Haryana IPS officer Y. Puran Kumar — who allegedly died by suicide at his Chandigarh residence on Tuesday had named 16 senior IAS and IPS officers in his note, alleging harassment and holding them directly responsible for his decision to take the extreme step. Among those mentioned, Rajesh Khullar, the Chief Principal Secretary (CPS) to Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini, stood out as the only officer who, according to Kumar’s note, extended him genuine support and assistance whenever he reached out. In his eight-page note, the deceased officer mentioned that he met Khullar twice and that Khullar even helped him by dictating notes to re-examine the matters discussed.
