An investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed in Philadelphia’s Strawberry Mansion neighborhood late Thursday night.

Police responded to the 3200 block of Ridge Avenue at 10:53 p.m. for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a 32-year-old man on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead by medics at 11:05 p.m.
