Hyderabad: Mild tension prevailed among locals after a crocodile was spotted at Abdullapurmet in the suburbs on Friday.

As per available information, the reptile, said to be 12 feet long and weighing 120 kg, was spotted near a canal connecting to the Musi River in Taramatipet village of Abdullapurmet.

The local villagers who saw it amidst bushes and thick vegetation panicked and informed the forest department.
