Emmerdale icon Andy Moore is best known for his role as PC Mike Swirling in the Yorkshire Dales, having played the local cop since 2004. ‌

Swirling has been involved in a number of storylines in the ITV soap over the years and is often seen investigating disturbances in the village and arresting troublesome residents. ‌

Most recently, PC Swirling brought April Windsor, played by Amelia Flanagan home after concerns that she was up to no good. ‌

He was right to suspect her as April had just completed another drugs drop for Ray Walters, played by Joe Absolom.
