MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Meet Gruff!

Humane Society Adoption Center of Monroe Director Terri Matthews says Gruff is about 3 and a half months old, and he has a condition that is the equivalent of down syndrome in humans. She says it won’t affect Gruff’s quality of life, he’ll still live a long and happy life!

Gruff is available through the Humane Society Adoption Center of Monroe .

If you can’t adopt, but want to help - this event is for you! It’s Saturday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Art Unleashed is an interactive art display with pet items for purchase. You’ll also meet some adoptable dogs!

It’s at the Courtyard on Cotton Gallery in Downtown West Monroe.
