The battle lines have been drawn in Ohio, with Governor Mike DeWine on one side and Republican legislators inexplicably standing with hemp producers.
Hosts of Today in Ohio questioned Thursday why anyone would oppose Mike DeWine’s drive to keep intoxicating hemp products out of the children and suggested that the hemp industry’s dollars are the difference maker for Republican lawmakers.
After nearly 18 months of pleading with lawmakers to regulate intoxicating hemp products marketed toward children, DeWine has finally taken matters into his own hands with an emergency order banning sales of the products.
“Mike DeWine from day one has said, ‘look, we’ve got to protect kids from getting this stuff. And the legislature is like, no, no. The hemp industry is making good money. To hell wit
