In a major crackdown to maintain law & order and curb criminal activities in the city, the CIA Staff team of Jalandhar Commissionerate Police has apprehended two accused in two separate cases and recovered 200 grams of heroin, one 32 bore pistol, and two live cartridges from their possession.

Sharing details, Commissioner of Police Jalandhar, Smt. Dhanpreet Kaur said that under the ongoing “Yudh Nashian Virudh” campaign initiated by the Punjab Government, these operations were carried out under the supervision of Sh. Manpreet Singh Dhillon (DCP/Investigation), Sh. Jayant Puri (ADCP/Investigation), Sh. Paramjit Singh (ADCP) and Sh. Amberveer Singh (ACP-D), led by Inspector Surinder Kumar, Incharge CIA Staff Jalandhar.
