A big drop in afternoon highs combined with a classic winter-type storm will bring a true fall feel to Southern California next week.
As for Friday, it will be humid with a continued chance of thunderstorms, mostly for our inland mountains and foothills due to moisture from Tropical Cyclone Priscilla. “The main bulk of energy is off through Arizona and New Mexico," KTLA Meteorologist Henry DiCarlo said.
Southern California will undergo quite a few changes next week.
"There is the potential for a significant rain event Monday through Wednesday this upcoming week," the National Weather Service (NWS) stated in its forecast discussion.
Most of the rain is expected to fall Monday night through Tuesday, with the core of the storm traveling north to south across the region, the NWS said.
