The Broken Arrow Community Playhouse will stage The Mousetrap , the world’s longest-running play, from Oct. 17-26. Showtimes are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
A Classic Mystery
Originally written as a radio play in 1947, Agatha Christie adapted The Mousetrap for the stage, premiering in London’s West End in 1952. The whodunit follows newlyweds Mollie and Giles Ralston as they run a bed and breakfast.
Each guest who arrives is more eccentric than the last, and a police warning of a killer on the loose turns the night into a tense investigation. The play is famous for its tightly guarded twist ending.
