Two men are in custody following an Organized Crime Unit investigation that led to the seizure of 7.5 kilograms of cocaine and $150,000 in cash in Winnipeg earlier this month.

According to police, the arrests were made on September 10 around 1:25 p.m., after investigators from the Organized Crime Unit (OCU) intercepted two vehicles in the Tyndall Park area.

Police say the operation began when the Manitoba RCMP’s Roving Traffic Unit provided information about a vehicle suspected of being involved in interprovincial drug trafficking and en route to Winnipeg. Officers later located a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe and a 2023 Toyota RAV4 believed to be connected to the suspected activity.
