Rossi Ralenkotter, the marketing visionary who helped create the iconic “What Happens Here, Stays Here” advertising campaign, has died after a 16-year battle with cancer. He was 78.
Ralenkotter spent 45 years marketing and promoting Las Vegas through the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, including more than 14 years as president and CEO. Under his leadership, Las Vegas reached record visitation of 42.9 million in 2016.
