MARION COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) -- A multi-vehicle crash in Marion County Thursday left a woman dead.
Kristi King, 50, of Hackleburg, was injured when the Jeep Wrangler she was driving collided head-on with a Kia Soul around 5:15 p.m. Prior to the initial impact, the Soul was struck by a different Jeep Wrangler. King, who was using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Kia Soul was taken to Russellville Hospital for medical treatment. The crash occurred on U.S. 43 near the 287 mile marker. Nothing else is available as Alabama Law Enforcement continues to investigate.
