The membership-based Sam's Club is expanding its hours of operation on Sundays starting Oct. 12, due to "overwhelming feedback" from its members, Steven Zapata, director of corporate communications at Sam's Club, confirmed to USA TODAY via email on Oct. 9.

Sam's Club has seven locations in Nevada, six in the Las Vegas area and 4835 Kietzke Lane in Reno.

While Sam's Club warehouses were previously open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays, Zapata said the new Sunday hours will move most clubs to a simplified schedule of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, with a few exceptions.

Plus members, the highest-tier-membership level , will continue to be able to shop early, getting early access to stores from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. daily.
