A new documentary about the life and career of beloved actor John Candy is now streaming.

“John Candy: I Like Me,” which had its premiere at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival, was released on Prime Video for all subscribers today, Oct. 10.

Candy was a Canadian actor and comedian who broke through as part of the Toronto branch of The Second City and SCTV, which he starred in alongside an ensemble cast that included Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, and Martin Short. He went on to star in films like “Stripes,” “Spaceballs,” “Uncle Buck,” and “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles,” among countless other memorable credits.
