PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A top-five matchup is set for week six of the high school football season between Lakeridge and undefeated West Linn.
West Linn is currently ranked No. 1 in the state of Oregon, and Lakeridge is coming in at No. 5 according to this week's MaxPreps rankings. West Linn has been dominating this year, winning four of their games by 27 points or more. They are coming off a big 42-6 win over Tigard last weekend.
Lakeridge has hit some bumps along the way and is sitting at 3-2 on the season after two narrow losses to Nelson and Central Catholic.
Last Friday, Lakeridge cruised to a 62-20 victory over Oregon City, which was the most points their offense has scored all season. They were led by Drew Weiler, who rushed for 297 yards and three scores.
