While temperatures won't warm up too much this weekend, most Michiganders will enjoy sunny skies by Sunday, Oct. 12, after a cold front moves through bringing rain on Friday into Saturday.
"A cold front with scattered showers moves through lower Michigan tonight," the National Weather Service in Detroit said on X. "Scattered showers, mainly in the Thumb region, Saturday. High pressure and dry weather return Sunday."
The Gaylord weather service office issued a similar outlook for the weekend.
"Rain showers overspread the area from northwest to southeast through (Friday), eventually reaching northeast lower and Saginaw Bay later this afternoon. Rain shower coverage decreases Saturday, yielding a dry close to the weekend with pleasant temperatures," the weather service said.
