BUCKSNORT, Tenn. ( WSMV /Gray News) – An explosion was reported at an explosives manufacturer in Nashville Friday morning.

A source told WSMV that several people are missing and one person is possibly dead.

Officials with the Hickman County Sheriff’s Office said emergency crews are at Accurate Energetic Systems to address what is going on.

Authorities have asked people to avoid the area to allow first responders to work efficiently.

According to its website, Accurate Energetic Systems, LLC was established in 1980 and “is dedicated to the development, manufacture, handling, and storage of high-quality energetic products utilized in both defense and commercial markets.”
