As a member of the Mercury Prize-winning band Alt-J, Gus Unger-Hamilton has sold out arenas stadiums worldwide.

But today (10 October), the English musician treated travellers at London’s Victoria Station to a very different sort of gig.

Accompanied by a hand-picked ‘super-group’, Unger-Hamilton performed marked World Homelessness Day with a surprise set. You can watch the highlight reel on Big Issue’s social channels .

Volunteers from the charity St Mungo’s collected money from the public as the band – comprised of comedian Adam Buxton , Tellison’s Henry Danowski, AK Patterson and Nuha Ruby Ra –performed Bob Dylan’s “Shelter from the Storm” and an AK Patterson original, “House of Glass”.
