Brookhaven Town Highway Superintendent Daniel P. Losquadro, Councilwoman Jane Bonner and Councilman Michael Loguercio have announced the resurfacing of a 2.3-mile stretch of Whiskey Road from Ridge Road in Ridge to County Road 21 in Middle Island. Prior to paving the roadway, crews inspected and repaired drains and installed additional drainage to mitigate flooding issues in low points along the roadway. In addition, the road was raised at several locations to ensure the water moves to the existing and new drains.
