The Daley Plaza and Aurora Christkindlmarkets opened for the season Friday.

Aurora's newly expanded market at RiverEdge Park now features 60 vendors.

And Wrigleyville gets its Christkindlmarket back on Sunday, after taking last year off for the NHL Winter Classic.

Millennium park isn't just lighting the city's Christmas tree Friday night; the holiday market opens at noon.

More than 40 local vendors are set up along the north promenade through Sunday.

The tree lighting festivities start at 5 p.m., with a pre-show, and then the tree will be lit around 6:25 p.m.

And right next-door, the McCormick Tribune ice rink just opened for the season.

Reservations are required.
