North Dakota State plays its only home game of October this Saturday as they host Southern Illinois in a top-eight ranked matchup.

SIU enters with a 4-1 record, with wins over Thomas More (D2 school), Southeast Missouri State, UT Martin and Indiana State, its lone loss came to Purdue out of the Big Ten.
