MANHATTAN — Kansas State football running back Dylan Edwards will miss the Wildcats' game against TCU, according to a national report.

ESPN's Pete Thamel reported that the Wildcats' star running back will sit out when they host the Horned Frogs at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. He was listed as "questionable" by the school in its initial Big 12 availability report on Wednesday, Oct. 8.

Edwards' absence would mark the third full game he has missed this season. He injured himself following a muffed punt return on his first touch of the season back in the Wildcats' Week 0 loss to Iowa State on Aug. 23, in Dublin, Ireland.

Since then, Edwards has only made a major impact in one game, it being the Wildcats' win over UCF on Sept. 27, when he rushed for 166
