LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - Traffic on County Road 53 is temporarily diverted as of Friday afternoon due to a traffic crash, according to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office.

In a social media post just before 12:45 p.m. Friday, the sheriff’s office encouraged travelers to “detour all traffic off CR 53 onto CR 260, then take CR 260 to CR 251, then take CR 251 to CR 270, and then take CR 270 back to CR 53 to avoid the area.”
