The recent interview with FBI Director Kash Patel was illuminating and helpful. I was especially encouraged by his focus on addressing nihilistic violent extremism ( “FBI Director Kash Patel: ‘We’re just warming up,'” Oct. 7). I do wish Williams had followed up given the gravity of the situation, when Patel said, in response to a question about domestic terrorism, “In L.A., you can’t attack law enforcement and throw rocks and boulders at them.
