While Peacemaker ‘s season two finale is behind us, that doesn’t mean we’re done with writer-director James Gunn regaling us with some behind-the-scenes tidbits of information about his DC Studios show. The newest, and arguably most hairbrained, bit of info he’s shared involves plans to somehow get Marvel’s Ryan Reynolds to cameo in Peacemaker as Deadpool in some Amalgamation Comics -type shenanigans.

Speaking at a virtual press conference ( that IGN was in attendance for ), Gunn was asked about any ideas he had knocking around his mind to play with the season’s portal dimension madness. One of those ideas involved Gunn dipping back into his Marvel bag by pitching the idea for Deadpool to be behind one of Christopher Smith’s many dimensional doorways .
