Ex-California Rep. Katie Porter’s opponent in the gubernatorial race is using her own words against her in a new ad featuring the ill-tempered pol’s full-blown meltdown during a TV interview.
Former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa rolled out a three-minute commercial that blasts out the full, unedited train-wreck exchange Porter had with a CBS News California journalist, in which she was abrasive, whined that she didn’t want to have an “unhappy experience” and tried to storm off.
Porter, 51, is leading in the polls to be the next governor of the Golden State over opponents including Villaraigosa, but is facing an onslaught of criticism for her childish behavior as her other nasty remarks resurfaced this week. 3
