Seated in a wheelchair, Roland Exantus stood up when his name was called by the judge on Oct. 10 and walked to the podium at the Marion County Jail.

Exantus, shackled and handcuffed, was flanked by two detention deputies,

County Judge Robert Landt told Exantus via Zoom from the Marion County Judicial Center about his charges. Jail records show Exantus is charged with violation of parole, aggravated assault with a weapon and failure to register as a convicted felon.
