THE MUMBAI crime branch Friday arrested gangster Ravi Mallesh Borra alias D K Rao (59) and two others for allegedly threatening investors at the behest of a builder who had taken money and did not complete construction of flats. This is the second time he is arrested by the crime branch this year after his arrest in January for a similar crime.

An official said they have arrested D K Rao and a small-time builder Mimit Bhuta and one Anil Singh on a complaint received earlier this week.

“In this case, the builder had taken money from investors but did not provide houses. When they started asking for their money back, he approached D K Rao to threaten them,” the officer said.
