Dave Allen has made weight for his heavyweight clash with Arslanbek Makhmudov.

Allen, 33, hit the scales at 259.1lbs (117.5kg) in Sheffield on Friday, with his Russian opponent coming in heavier at 261.1lbs (118.4kg) ahead of the pair's showdown this weekend .

'The White Rhino' hasn't fought since he viciously knocked out Johnny Fisher in the fifth round of their rematch in May.

When the fellow Brits met at London's Copperbox Arena, Allen tipped the scales at 265lbs (120kg), the heaviest he's been in the last seven years.

He has now cut back down to 259.1lbs for his fight with Makhmudov, who has been wrestling bears and taking sledgehammers to the gut in preparation to face Allen.
