NIACC topples Iowa Lakes

The NIACC Trojans took down the Iowa Lakes Lakers in four sets (25-11, 14-25, 25-15, 25-23) on Wednesday night. Jocelynn Coleman had 11 kills, Megan Tobin had 10, Brielle Volker had eight and Hannah Brinkman had seven. Brinkman had six aces and Kendal VanMinsel had three. Kenedee Frayne had 19 assists while VanMinsel had 14.

“We were really happy to see the execute the offensive game plan and when things weren’t going our way, keep competing at a high level,” NIACC head coach Chris Brandt said. “We are fortunate to have the weekend off to rest our bodies before we prepare for another challenging conference match next week.”

The Trojans take on Kirkwood next Wednesday in a conference matchup.
