HICKMAN COUNTY, Tenn. — Multiple people died and several others are missing after an explosion at a Middle Tennessee explosives company.

Officials said the explosion happened around 7:45 a.m. CDT on Friday at a building on the Accurate Energetic Systems campus, which is located along the county line in Hickman and Humphreys counties.

Helicopter video from CNN/NewsChannel 5 in Nashville showed smoke, flames, scattered debris and damaged vehicles at the site where the explosion happened. No structures were seen standing at the site.
