(WJET/WFXP) – A local animal shelter announced that one dog has crossed over the rainbow bridge.
On Friday, October 10, the ANNA Shelter announced on their Facebook page that Autumn, an emaciated dog found at Frontier Park, had unfortunately passed away.
"Her body had been through too much and despite all of the amazing efforts from our team of doctors and dedicated #TEAMANNA staff members, it was her time to go," the post reads.
Autumn was found on Monday, October 6, by a good Samaritan who quickly called the ANNA Shelter and local police in order to get her the help she needed.
Although Autumn didn't pull through, the shelter said they will continue to strive towards getting justice for her.
