LITTLE FALLS — The Initiative Foundation is accepting applications for its Emerging Needs grant round, which provides up to $5,000 in short-term funding for nonprofits facing sudden challenges or unexpected losses of state or federal funding.

These flexible, rapid-response grants are designed to help organizations remain resilient and responsive during times of crisis. Funds may be used to stabilize operations, adapt or expand services and meet urgent community needs across the foundation’s 14-county service area, which includes portions of the Leech Lake and Mille Lacs Bands of Ojibwe.
