The Massachusetts Institute of Technology has rejected President Donald Trump's “Compact for Academic Excellence in Higher Education,” saying it "includes principles with which we disagree, including those that would restrict freedom of expression and our independence as an institution."
The Cambridge university released a copy of its letter to U.S. Education Secretary Linda McMahon on Friday.
