Mangaluru, Oct 10 : Mohammad Sinan (24), wanted in connection with a 2021 attempted murder case registered at Urwa police station (Cr No. 07/2021 under Sections 143, 147, 148, 301, 323, 324, 307, 504, 506 read with 149 IPC), has been taken into custody following his extradition from Qatar.

Sinan, son of Mohammad Salim and a resident of 8-10-786/82, Yasin Compound, Kudroli, Mangaluru, had been absconding for over two years while residing abroad. The Sessions Court had issued a non-bailable warrant against him after repeated failures to appear before the court.

Following this, the Bureau of Immigration, New Delhi, issued a Lookout Circular (LOC), enabling authorities to track his travel. On October 8, 2025, Sinan landed at Mangaluru International Airp
