Georgia football defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann received a one-year contract extension after last season that runs through June 30, 2028, and gives him pay increases before the next two seasons.

Schumann, in his 10 th season on Kirby Smart’s staff, makes $2.003 million in total pay annually.

That is set to rise to $2.103 million on July 1, 2026, and to $2.203 million on July 1, 2027, according to an amendment to his contract obtained by the Athens Banner-Herald on Friday Oct. 10 in an open records request.
