A Strictly star has pulled out of Movie Week ‘due to illness’ as the BBC series confirmed their future on the programme.

The news comes just weeks after Dani Dyer withdrew from the show after fracturing her ankle during training following the launch show.

Former Love Island winner Dani was paired with Nikita Kuzmin, but has since been replaced by Amber Davies, who has been with Nikita for both of the live shows.

Prior to that, Game of Thrones' actor Kristian Nairn was replaced by Emmerdale actor Lewis Cope days after the line-up was confirmed, due to struggling with 'a high level of stress and a little bit of grief'.
