BEVERLY HILLS, Texas (KWTX) - An undocumented immigrant was arrested after he was caught having sex with a 14-year-old girl in a car, an arrest warrant affidavit states.

Elmer Lopez-Hernandez, 20, is charged with indecency with a child by sexual contact, according to court and jail records.

At about 12:45 a.m. on Oct. 10, a police sergeant spotted a Chevrolet Camaro with Louisiana license plates parked outside a closed Exxon convenience store at 4722 Memorial Drive.

The sergeant decided to investigate because the Exxon has a history of break-ins and the Camaro was parked in a dark, unlit area.

As the officer approached the car, she observed a girl exiting the vehicle while trying to adjust or pull down her dress, the arrest warrant states.

The sergeant learned the girl was 14 years
