The ancient Greek philosopher Plato is often quoted as saying, “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.” American singer-songwriter Billy Joel claims, “Music in itself is healing; it’s an expression of humanity … no matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.”

Here in Maryland, we are very fortunate.
