Late in the fourth quarter against the New York Giants, there was New Orleans Saints cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry putting the whole picture together.

As the seconds on the play clock ticked down, McKinstry surveyed the field and digested what he saw. He noted the down and distance, the time remaining in the game, who he was lined up across from and where he fit within the offensive formation. He quickly processed what the Giants had been trying to do, and most important, what they were likely to do next.

McKinstry thought it would be an in-breaker. Sure enough, Giants receiver Beaux Collins tried to beat McKinstry inside, but he had no chance. McKinstry out-leveraged Collins and beat him to the ball for an athletic, leaping interception .
