ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A man was hospitalized after being shot in southwest Atlanta on Friday morning, according to police.
Around 4:47 a.m., Atlanta police said they responded to the 500 block of Rockwell Street SW in the Pittsburgh neighborhood, where they found a man with a gunshot wound.
The victim was alert, conscious and breathing when he was taken to the hospital.
The man told officers he was walking south on Humphries Street when three men wearing ski masks walked up and shot him.
Police have not named suspects or announced arrests.
