FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The ever-growing world of "Banana Ball" is back for 2026 with upcoming stops in Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Next year, there will be six teams in the new Banana Ball Championship League, including the original two teams, the Savannah Bananas and the Party Animals.
Founder Jessie Cole said Thursday night that the league had scheduled appearances in 75 stadiums in 45 states. Unfortunately, the Banana Ball league will skip Northwest Arkansas in 2026, despite a pair of sold-out games at Baum-Walker Stadium in August.
Luckily for Northwest Arkansans, they may not have to travel far to get a dose of Banana Ball next year.
The Loco Beach Coconuts, one of the two new teams in 2026, will take on The Firefighters on Saturday, March 14, and Sunday, March 15, at Dickey-
