Residents were dealing with heavy flooding in parts of South Florida Friday as heavy rain was moving through the area.
The rain prompted flood advisories to be issued by the National Weather Service for Broward and Miami-Dade until 3:30 p.m.
1230 PM: Flood Advisories in effect from Pompano Beach southward to Hallandale. This also includes Fort Lauderdale and Dania Beach. Video showed some streets in Hallandale Beach underwater, and flooding was also reported in Aventura and Wilton Manors.
