The Chatham Maroons haven’t looked like themselves lately.
They’ve been missing the confidence and good vibes that fuelled their 5-0-0-0 start to the Greater Ontario Hockey League season.
They’ve lost their jam, said forward Carter Chadwick. And without it, they’re toast.
“I feel like we got too ahead of ourselves,” Chadwick said. “We’ve got to take a look in the mirror and know it’s not going to be easy every night.
“We’re the defending champs. Everyone that’s going to come into this barn, or if we go there, they’re going to want to give us a good 60 minutes. We’ve just got to match that intensity off the start of the first puck drop to the last buzzer.”
