Chandigarh ( Haryana ) [India], October 10 (ANI): Haryana Additional Chief Secretary D Suresh Kumar on Friday called for a “fair and quick investigation” and the immediate arrest of the accused in connection with the death of senior IPS officer Y Puran Kumar.

Speaking to reporters, Additional Chief Secretary D Suresh Kumar said, "We have requested for fair and quick investigation and immediate arrest of DGP Shatrujeet Kapoor and SP Rohtak..."

The comments followed the lodging of an FIR against Haryana Director General of Police (DGP) Shatrujeet Singh Kapur and Rohtak Superintendent of Police (SP) Narendra Bijarniya, based on a complaint filed by IAS officer Amneet Puran Kumar, the wife of the deceased officer.
