The Texas trio Khruangbin have announced a series of intimate shows across the U.S. celebrating the 10th anniversary of their debut record, The Universe Smiles Upon You.

That tour will include a Nov. 14 stop at First Avenue.

The band is best known for its synthesis of psychedelia and global sounds, as well as collaborations with Arooj Aftab, Leon Bridges, and a tribute to the great Ali Farka Toure with his son, Malian songwriter Vieux Farka Toure.

The group's last couple of tours have passed over the Twin Cities, making this their first appearance in Minnesota since a two-night stand at the Palace Theatre in March 2022.
