A Canadian ramen chain is gearing up to expand with its first Calgary location soon.
Sansotei, which was first founded in Toronto in 2012, specializes in authentic Tonkotsu ramen, with its recipes taking inspiration from the Kyushu and Hokkaido regions of Japan.
Soon, the restaurant will bring its comforting dishes to the heart of downtown Calgary, with the spot slated to open by the end of the year.
Sansotei uses ingredients for its products that are sourced both locally and from Japanese suppliers to ensure the highest quality. Its menu is concise but flavourful, with options including tonkotsu, shoyu, and spicy tan tan ramen.
The chain operates several restaurants across Ontario and Quebec. While Sansotei hasn’t revealed an opening date for its YYC outpost, we’ll be waiting.
